About me
Hi! I’m Klaudia, a CELTA-qualified English teacher with previous teaching experience at International House Budapest.
I’m originally from the US and have been living in Budapest for several years, so I understand both the English-speaking and Hungarian sides of communicating across cultures.
I’ve always loved working with people and helping others feel more confident. As a teacher, I especially enjoy creating a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable speaking, asking questions and making mistakes without feeling self-conscious.
My teaching style is friendly, practical and conversation-focused. I believe that the best way to improve your English is to actually use it — talking about things that interest you and situations that are relevant to your everyday life.
Outside of teaching, I’m a mum of two, I love travelling, fashion, fitness, discovering new places and spending time with family and friends. I’m naturally curious and love having conversations with people from different backgrounds, so hopefully our lessons will feel more like an enjoyable conversation than a traditional classroom.

Do you understand English well but find it difficult to speak naturally and confidently? Or perhaps you simply want more opportunities to practice real English in a relaxed, supportive environment?
My conversational English classes are designed to help you speak more, think more naturally in English, and feel comfortable communicating in real-life situations.
As a CELTA-qualified English teacher and former teacher at International House Budapest, I have experience helping students of different levels improve their communication skills.
Each lesson is tailored to you and your goals. We can talk about topics that genuinely interest you — travel, work, family, lifestyle, current events, hobbies, culture, or anything else you enjoy discussing.
During our conversations, I’ll help you:
* speak more fluently and confidently
* expand your everyday vocabulary
* learn natural English expressions and phrases
* improve pronunciation
* become more comfortable speaking spontaneously
* identify and correct recurring mistakes
* stop translating everything in your head
The focus is on real communication rather than memorizing endless grammar rules. I’ll guide the conversation, give you useful corrections and feedback, and introduce new language naturally as we go.
Whether you want to improve your English for travel, work, social situations, living abroad, or simply to feel more confident speaking, we’ll create lessons around what you actually need and enjoy.
Most importantly, there is no pressure to speak perfect English. Mistakes are part of learning — my goal is to help you become comfortable enough to keep speaking.
