I've known Bayan for four years throughout university, and he's always been enthusiastic about teaching. After every lecture, he would explain difficult concepts in biochemistry, physiology, and neuroscience to me and my friends. He took the time to get to know me and adapt to my learning style. I'm a visual learner, so Bayan would draw out biochemical pathways on a whiteboard and go through them in detail. He also sent me great resources and videos to support my learning. As a person, he's very approachable and enthusiastic. I like how Bayan is direct in his teaching and will point out any gaps in my knowledge and tell me when I'm doing something wrong. I understand the fundamentals of biochemistry much better after learning from him, and I recommend him to anyone who is struggling or needs a mentor to guide them in the right direction.
