A school buddy initiative that was set up in my primary school when I was 11, set me up for a future of teaching and sharing my knowledge with others. Since that moment, I have wanted to do nothing but teach. I thoroughly enjoy working with students and love it when they understand a concept or apply a skill that I have taught them. I enjoy planning sessions that are exciting, knowledgeable and that build curiosity from the students. In my own time, I enjoy musical theatre, reading and swimming. My friends and colleagues would say I am confident, caring and committed to what I do. I look forward to meeting with you.

Friendly, flexible, and always happy to tailor lessons to your needs. I teach using a student centered approach linking skill based teaching to the real world. I am trained with a PGCE degree from the University of Hertfordshire in England specialising in the age range 5 - 11 years old. I do however, have experience in tutoring older students up to GCSE/MYP5 Level. Prior to moving to Hungary for my current teaching position, I tutored a 12 year old and a 16 year old through her exams. I like to teach using a variety of lesson styles such as hands on activities as well as sessions that focus on rote learning and the repeated practice of methods, skills and concepts. My strength is the literacy side of the curriculum focusing on Phonics, reading and writing in the English language however I am trained to teach maths as well as other subjects in the British Curriculum to a high standard.
