I have been helping language learners since 2018. I am a final-year BA student in English Studies, and I offer Hungarian lessons for foreigners in English.
My aim is to make Hungarian clear, practical and less intimidating. My lessons focus on understanding how the language works, not just memorising rules.
Through language exchange partnerships, I have helped native English speakers from the United States and Canada learn Hungarian. I have also worked with native Russian and Japanese speakers who were learning English. These experiences have helped me understand the questions, misunderstandings and difficulties that often arise when learning Hungarian.

INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE
Through language exchange partnerships, I have helped native English speakers from the United States and Canada learn Hungarian.
I have also worked with native Russian and Japanese speakers who were learning English. These experiences gave me valuable insight into the linguistic challenges and learning obstacles that foreign language learners often face.
Over the years, I have had the opportunity to observe the types of questions, misunderstandings, and interpretation difficulties that naturally arise when learners encounter the functional features of Hungarian that often seem unusual or difficult from a foreign perspective. Because of this, my lessons place special emphasis on explanations and interpretation, helping students understand not only what a language does, but also why it works that way.
When teaching Hungarian, my goal is to make the language understandable and meaningful, rather than turning it into a memorization exercise.
WHO ARE MY LESSONS FOR?
Anyone who would like to improve their English or learn Hungarian. I welcome learners of all ages and backgrounds.
LOCATION
• Online lessons (preferred)
• In-person lessons in Budapest, Hungary may be arranged when necessary, provided that online learning is not a suitable alternative.
FEES
• 5,000 HUF (approximately €12.50) per 60 minutes
Lessons are typically 120 minutes long.
• 10,000 HUF (approximately €25) per 120-minute session
In my experience, two-hour lessons provide enough time to fully understand, practise, and reinforce a topic.
