What separates a mechanical player from a true musician? It all comes down to the mind. My name is Heritage, and my teaching philosophy is simple: learn the instrument, understand the psychology, and live the music. To cut the long story short, I am not here to just hand you a sheet of tabs and watch the clock. Why blindly memorize chords when you can understand the deep psychology of sound and truly command your electric jazz guitar?
My approach is hands-on, direct, and completely honest. I have spent significant time organizing youth STEM bootcamps and teaching active students at Tsuri International School, which taught me exactly how to break down complex systems into highly engaging lessons for children. I love watching young minds suddenly grasp a difficult concept because they are genuinely immersed in the process. But make no mistake—whether I am guiding children through foundational rhythms or pushing dedicated adult beginners, expect me to challenge your assumptions and immediately correct weak habits. In a nutshell, I want to share my knowledge so you can stop mimicking others and start fluently speaking the language of music.
