Shekainah Joy bemutatkozása
I have been singing competitively since 2007, beginning with solo singing competitions in the Philippines. In 2013, I became involved in choral singing, which expanded my experience from solo performance into ensemble and harmony work.
I later sang as a Soprano 1 with Imusicapella, an internationally competitive Filipino choral group that has received awards in international competitions. My choral experience helped me develop a strong foundation in pitch, intonation, harmony, blending, vocal control, and musical expression.
Beyond choir, I have participated in solo singing competitions and theatre workshops, giving me experience in individual performance, stage presence, interpretation, and connecting emotionally with a song.
I now enjoy sharing what I have learned with students who want to discover or improve their own voice. My lessons are supportive, practical, and personalized according to each student’s level, goals, and musical interests.
For English-language songs, I can also help with pronunciation and diction, alongside vocal technique and musical interpretation.
Lessons can include live piano accompaniment, making it possible to work naturally on vocal exercises, melodies, and repertoire.
My goal is to help students build a strong foundation, understand their voice, and become more confident and expressive singers while enjoying the process.

My lessons are designed to make singing enjoyable, practical, and personalized to you. Whether you are a complete beginner or already enjoy singing and want to improve, we will work with songs that suit your voice and musical taste.
Each lesson can include vocal warm-ups, breathing exercises, pitch and intonation, rhythm, English pronunciation and diction, expression, and performance confidence.
What makes the sessions special is the opportunity to work with live piano accompaniment, allowing you to practice your songs in a more natural and musical setting rather than relying only on backing tracks.
The goal is simple: to help you understand your voice, build confidence, and enjoy singing the songs you love.
