Hello! I’m a native English speaker currently living in Budapest, where I am pursuing my Bachelor’s degree in Communications and Media Science. My background in communications means I don't just teach the language; I help you understand how to use it effectively to connect with others.
I am a naturally friendly and open-minded person who genuinely loves meeting people from all different backgrounds. I believe that learning a language is one of the best ways to bridge cultural gaps, and I find it incredibly rewarding to hear my students' unique stories and perspectives.
I chose to become a tutor because I enjoy sharing the beauty of the English language and seeing that "aha!" moment when a difficult concept finally clicks. Outside of teaching, you can usually find me exploring the city, working on creative art projects or soaking up the sun through an outdoor activity. I move away from dry, repetitive drills and instead use contextual learning. We explore English through storytelling, real-world conversation, and critical analysis. I specialise in breaking down complex grammatical rules into "logic-based" steps that actually make sense, rather than just memorising exceptions.
Each session is dynamic and tailored to your goals:
We will warm up with a brief conversational exercise or vocabulary challenge.
Then turn out focus towards targeted work on a specific skill such as essay structure, phonetics, or reading comprehension).
Through active application we will apply what we have learned through writing prompts or verbal debates.
Finally we will end with real-time corrections and constructive tips to sharpen your style.

ESL Learners: Improving fluency and pronunciation for non-native speakers
