Yimin bemutatkozása
Hi! I’m Yimin, a Khoomei performer with around 20 years of experience in music and stage performance. I have performed Khoomei on stage for nearly 10 years and currently perform with the Kamasa Chamber Ensemble.
I have more than 10 years of music teaching experience, a Master’s degree in Music Education, and a background in Music Performance. I also studied classical singing at the Academy of Music in Kraków, Poland, and I am a member of the International Khoomei Association.
I am currently a PhD student in Linguistics at ELTE in Budapest. I enjoy sharing Khoomei and traditional vocal techniques with people from different cultural and musical backgrounds.

My lessons combine traditional throat singing with professional vocal and musical training. I teach Tuvan and Mongolian Khoomei, as well as Tibetan esoteric vocal techniques, through demonstration, listening, imitation, and practical exercises.
A typical lesson begins with breathing, relaxation, and vocal exercises. We then work on resonance, overtones, throat singing techniques, and sound control. I demonstrate the techniques myself and guide each student step by step according to their individual voice.

My lessons are open to all levels, from complete beginners to experienced singers and musicians. Each lesson can be adapted to the student’s voice, experience, interests, and goals.
